Frequently asked questions
How do Plane cycles and modules differ, and can I use both?
Cycles are time-boxed sprints that group issues into a fixed window; modules are permanent workstreams you can reuse across cycles. Both are available on all plans, and issues can belong to a cycle and a module simultaneously.
Can I import issues from Jira or GitHub into Plane?
Plane supports CSV import for bulk issue migration and has a GitHub integration that syncs issues bidirectionally. For Jira migrations, export to CSV from Jira and map the columns during Plane's importer.
Which plans include API access and SSO?
API access is included from the Pro plan upward. SSO integration (OIDC/SAML) is also available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans.
How many users and projects can I run on each plan?
Starter supports up to 10 users with unlimited projects; Pro extends this to 25 users; Business to 75 users; Enterprise has no user cap and runs on dedicated resources.
